Set an Alarm for 6:00 AM
Six o'clock is where getting up early stops being a personality trait and starts being a commute. It is the standard alarm for anyone whose day begins at seven or half past, or who wants a clear hour before the household stirs. The clock field above already holds 06:00.
Whether six is right for you is less about the number and more about a subtraction most people never do properly, which is what the first section below is about.
Set Alarm
Set the alarm from your departure time, not from a round number
List what actually has to happen and give each item a real figure, not an optimistic one: shower and dress, say 20 minutes; breakfast and coffee, 15; lunch or bags, 10; scraping the car in winter, 5. Add ten minutes of slack, because something always comes up. If the total is 75 minutes and the door has to shut at 7:15, six o'clock is exactly right.
If the total comes to 45 minutes, then 6:00 is thirty minutes of lying in the dark looking at a phone, and 6:20 will serve you better. Round numbers feel tidy. Departure times are the thing that actually constrains you.
Stacking a second alarm as a backstop
This page keeps a list of alarms, not just one, and you can use that. Arm 06:00, then type 06:15 into the same field and press “Set Alarm” again — both sit in the list below and both will fire. The second one is not a snooze; it is a checkpoint. If it catches you still in the kitchen, you already know the morning is running late while there is time to do something about it.
One caution worth stating plainly: this is a browser tab, so the alarm only rings while the tab stays open and the machine stays awake. For a flight or an interview, set something on your phone as well.
