About TickTimeTock
TickTimeTock is four free clock tools that run entirely in your browser: an alarm clock, a countdown timer, a stopwatch, and a world clock. There's nothing to install and no account to create — open a page and it works.
The tools
- Alarm Clock — set one or more alarms with a choice of alert tones, snooze, and a full-screen wake-up overlay. Useful for a quick nap timer, a one-off wake-up when you're away from your phone, or anyone who wants an alarm running on a spare screen.
- Timer — a countdown timer with quick presets and a progress ring, with the remaining time shown live in the browser tab title so you can keep an eye on it without switching tabs. Handy for cooking, workouts, study sessions, or timed breaks.
- Stopwatch — start, stop, and lap with hundredths-of-a-second precision, with the fastest and slowest laps highlighted automatically. Useful for timing runs, sets, or any task where you want split times without doing the math yourself.
- Time — your current local time plus a world clock showing several major cities at once, each with a rough day/night indicator. Useful for checking whether it's a reasonable time to call somewhere else.
How it works
Every tool runs as plain JavaScript in your browser. Once a page has loaded, it keeps working without an internet connection — there's no server behind any of this, and nothing you enter is sent anywhere. Your preferences (theme, accent color, and 12/24-hour format) and any alarms you set are saved locally in your browser so they're there the next time you visit. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail on what's stored and where.
Who built this
TickTimeTock is a small, independently run site with no company or team behind it — just a handful of straightforward tools built to be fast, ad-light, and free to use. If you run into a bug or have an idea for a tool that's missing, see the Contact page.
