TickTimeTock (ticktimetock.com) is a set of browser-based clock tools. This policy explains, plainly and specifically, what this site actually does with data — not a generic template.

There is no server, account, or database

TickTimeTock is a static set of pages with no backend. There is nothing to sign up for, no account, and no database where your information is collected or stored on our end, because we don't operate one.

What's stored, and where

The alarm clock, timer, stopwatch, and world clock save a small amount of data using your browser's own localStorage, under keys prefixed ticktock:. Specifically:

• ticktock:settings — your theme (light/dark), accent color, 12/24-hour preference, and whether the date is shown.
• ticktock:alarms — any alarms you've set (time, tone, and on/off state) on the alarm clock page.

This data is written and read only by your own browser. It never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it. It stays on your computer or phone until you clear it or clear your browser's site data for this domain.

No external requests

The site's pages load their own CSS and JavaScript files from this domain and make no calls to any external server, API, or analytics service. There are no tracking pixels, no embedded fonts from third-party CDNs, and no analytics scripts running on the tool pages.

How to clear your data

Because everything is stored locally, clearing it is entirely in your hands: open your browser's settings and clear cookies and site data for this domain, or use your browser's "Clear browsing data" tool and make sure "Site data" or "Cookies and other site data" is included. Doing so will reset your theme, accent, and format preferences and remove any saved alarms.

Third-party advertising

We intend to display ads on this site through Google AdSense. Once ads are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies — including cookies set from Google's own domains — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. That cookie-setting happens in a third-party context that this site does not control and cannot see into.
